First Time Jumpers at Blue Sky Adventures SkydivingTandem Training JumpsThank you for your interest in jumping at Blue Sky Adventures Skydiving. Our skydiving center combines an excellent staff, state of the art equipment, great facilities, fine weather and the best skydiving aircraft anywhere in Central New York. At Blue Sky Adventures Skydiving, we believe that the future of skydiving is in you: the future skydiver. Come and be a part of our great sport!Tandem Skydive from 10,000 feet. After only a short briefing you and your Instructor will take to the skies. You will climb in the aircraft to 10,000 feet and freefall for almost 1 minute. You will have the sensation of being on your own. After you open the parachute, the instructor offers guidance as you fly the parachute together. A tandem jump is a great way to experience the thrill of skydiving while under close supervision of an experienced Instructor. This is the most popular first jump. Hours: We open our doors at 7:30am and are open until sunset. Tandem training jump reservations are until 2:00pm only. Jumping begins at 8:00 a.m. (most of the year) and continues until sunset, weather permitting. We can train students anytime we are open for business, just give us as much advance notice as possible to make sure we have plenty of staff on hand. Remember it with a video or DVD!A great way to remember your first jump experience is to purchase a live freefall video of your skydive. Each video is approximately 10 minutes long, expertly edited and accompanied by music. Not only is video fun to watch, it's also a great training tool for students who are learning the fine art of skydiving. Also available on DVD! This also means that all of our instructional staff is certified by the USPA. |
Please note: To be able to make a Tandem jump: • You must be at least 18 years of age, please come with a valid ID. • Wear sneakers/sport shoes, no sandals or boots, no shoes with heals. • Wear loose fitting comfortable clothing. • Remove all jewelry, no watches, bracelets, necklaces and nothing in your pockets. We have lockers that you can use to secure your valuables. • Get driving directions from our website. Information, maps and directions. • Arrive 15 to 30 minutes before your scheduled reservation time. • Plan on at least a four-hour stay on the weekend and a three-hour stay during the week. If your reservation is at 11am or later, you need to plan on spending the rest of the day here. • Absolutely no alcohol or drugs in your system. • Please: Absolutely no pets allowed on the Drop Zone.
